なんかすごい賞を獲ったらしい。
それでいいわ。それにしよう。
ビョークのことは何も知らなかったが、
なんか受賞したらしいからよさそうと思って、選んだ。
そして私は戦慄した。

そして衝撃のラストに。

洋画と言えば、ハリウッドの娯楽大作ばかり見ていたので、
ヨーロッパの現実直視型の陰惨な社会派映画に
慣れていなかったのだ。
友人は映画の中の登場人物に
ずっと怒っていたが、私はデンマーク人と
アイスランド人の本気に脳天を殴られたような
衝撃を受け、言葉少なに帰った。

というか、高校生でお金がないので、

だいぶ後になってから、

すっかり映画の世界にハマった私は、
興味の持てない授業中、
近隣の工場から鳴るボイラーの音に合わせて、
メロディーをのせるなどして遊んでいたのであった。

100円shopのはぎれとファスナーで手縫いで作ったぺらぺらのポーチに。おばあちゃんの作ってくれたお手玉みたいな感じ。それを首の後ろに当てたら、あったかくて、ポカポカして、自然と眠くなってきて、安眠にいいなと思いました。
