There was a special sink next to the trash bin that said, "Rinse the paper cups with water and stack them according to size." Kind of like a drinking fountain. It has a faucet and pedals.

After returning to Japan, I went to a certain fast food restaurant and saw the clerk collecting all the garbage that the customers were sorting and throwing away. I feel sad!! ︎

actually, the restaurant seems to put out and throw it all away
Plastic flaps and straws that most people don't need.
If Taiwanese people see this, I think they will think "Wow..." What do you think?
It's scary to think how many tons of paper waste Japanese hamburger chains, which has about 6,000 stores, burns every day...

ゴミ箱のところに、「紙コップは、水でゆすいでから、サイズごとに重ねてください」と書いてある専用のシンクがあった！よくある水飲み機みたいなやつ。蛇口とペダルがついてる。
2017年台湾一人旅にて目撃
うわ〜台湾、進んでる‼︎いいなあ。
帰国し、某ファストフード店に入ったワタシは、お客が一応分別してどんどん捨てていくゴミを、店員が全部一緒にまとめて持っていくのを見た！かなしい気持ちになった‼︎

台湾の人がこれ見たら「うわぁ…」って思うんだろうなぁ…どうなのこれ？
約6000店舗数くらいあるという日本のハンバーガー・チェーン店だけで、一体、毎日何トンくらいの紙ゴミを燃やしているのだろうかと、考えるだけでも恐ろしい…
